2020 Beyond Sunday Fellows Service Projects

Service Projects Focus on Inspiring Action to Strengthen Our Community

The Roman Catholic Foundation has planned the 2020 annual Beyond Sunday Fellows Service Projects with a focus on inspiring our Fellows to take action to strengthen our community. These service events are for all 2019-2020 Beyond Sunday high school scholarship recipients from Catholic high schools throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

As an extension of the theme from the Fellows Faith and Leadership Encounter last Fall, Beyond Sunday Fellows will put into action what they learned at the Fall event that it is easy to make a positive impact on people in our community. Fellows will learn about the mission of the organization they chose for their activity and do service work at the organization. This year the Foundation is partnering with four organizations in our community that are making a real difference in the lives of those they serve. Activities include serving senior citizens, making stuffed teddy bears for hospitalized children, and working in warehouses to help feed the hungry and provide necessities to impoverished children.

A core objective of the Fellows Program is to build community among Catholic high school students; therefore, Fellows are strongly encouraged to maximize their experience in the Beyond Sunday Fellows Program through participation in an annual service project activity.
