Mark J. Guyol, M.B.A.

President & CEO


Prior to joining to the Roman Catholic Foundation, Mark gained 28 years of business and leadership experience at St. Louis-based Ronnoco Coffee Company, most recently serving as Vice President.

Mark has been active in his parish and Catholic organizations in the Archdiocese of St. Louis for over 20 years. He served as General Chair of the Annual Catholic Appeal in 2005 and currently serves on the board of Birthright Counseling. He is a past member of the Archdiocese of St. Louis Finance Council, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary Board and the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Foundation Board. He also is a former member of the Immacolata Parish Council.

Scott A Welz

Director of Finance & Operations


Scott has over 25 years of experience in finance and strategy in Fortune 500 companies, most recently he was the Managing Director of Innovation for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Scott is currently President of the Rainbow Village Foundation and was previously President of the board of this charity which provides homes to adults with developmental disabilities.  He has also served on the Skandalaris Center Entrepreneurship National Council at Washington University and is a member of the St. Vincent de Paul conference at St. Anselm parish.

Christina K. Duepner

Senior Accountant


Prior to joining the Roman Catholic Foundation, Christina was the Chief Financial Officer for Pony Bird, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides 24-hour care for developmentally disabled, non-ambulatory children and adults.  Before her time at Pony Bird, Christina spent 12 years working as an accountant for the Missouri Foundation for Health.  She brings to the Roman Catholic Foundation extensive experience in budgeting and nonprofit accounting.  Christina is passionate about helping others and is excited to be part of an organization where the mission is to contribute to the future sustainability of the Church.

Christina has been an active member and volunteer of St. Rose of Lima Church in De Soto for more than 30 years.  She currently serves as Co-Chair for St. Pius X High School’s Alumni Association, located in Festus.  Christina and her husband have one son who currently attends St. Rose of Lima School and are active with the Knights of Columbus Council #1185.

Michael W. Weisbrod

Gift Planning Officer


Michael brings to the Roman Catholic Foundation more than 35 years of experience in asset management with a focus on charitable and wealth planning. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing for First Bank Wealth Management Group, and prior to that, he worked with U.S. Trust, UMB Trust and U.S. Bank.

Michael has enjoyed nearly 40 years of community involvement, having served as Board President for the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis, the St. Louis Planned Giving Council and the Arts and Education Council. He is a board member of the Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, St. Louis Cathedral Concerts, St. Louis Planned Giving Council and the International Photography Hall of Fame. Michael lives in the Central West End and is a parishioner of the Cathedral Basilica, where he chairs the Stewardship Committee and sits on the Finance Committee.

Cindy Johnson

Grants Administrator


Prior to joining the Roman Catholic Foundation, Cindy was the Advancement Director at St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, Missouri, where she is an alumni parent and longtime volunteer. In this role, Cindy worked on a variety of fundraising and special event initiatives for annual giving, including annual funds, scholarships and grants. She also implemented planned giving initiatives, including working with the Foundation to set up endowment funds to benefit the school. Before her time at St. Dominic, Cindy spend more than 20 years in the banking and asset management industry, serving as a portfolio manager for the majority of that time.

Cindy has been a member and active volunteer at St. Joseph Church in Cottleville for more than 25 years. She and her husband have two daughters and two grandsons.

April Y. Esenwah

Executive Assistant


Prior to joining the Foundation team in 2013, April spent 26 years working for the Office of Stewardship and the Annual Catholic Appeal of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. In her role there, she served as Associate for the Planned Giving Department, giving her extensive experience in administering planned gifts and cultivating donor relationships.

April has a strong background in volunteerism, having served on the Planned Giving and Endowment Council of the Archdiocese of St. Louis and the Endowment and Stewardship Committees at her parish, St. James the Greater. Currently, April serves as a board member of the musicians mentoring program, Y’All of New York.

Holly Finnegan

Donor Services Manager


Holly is an expert in process coordination and improvement, which serves her well in her role at the Foundation. As Donor Services Manager, Holly always strives to improve organization and ensure that every donor receives excellent service. Happy to have returned to the Staunton, Illinois area after living for several years in Chicago and Cincinnati, Holly spends her free time gardening and doing outdoor projects. Her favorite aspects of working at the Foundation include being a part of the greater good and the spiritual support that the Foundation team brings.

Andrea Sharp

Senior Donor Services Representative/Analyst


Andrea has been a St. Louis resident for 32 years and has spent the past 20 serving religious organizations. Most recently, Andrea worked for the Lutheran Church Extension Fund as a quality assurance specialist. She brings excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude to all that she does at the Foundation. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys volunteering, assisting for many years with a 5K in Cedar Hill, Missouri that raises money for veterans with cancer and visiting nursing homes to spend time with residents who do not have family nearby.

Andrea has been a member of St. Dominic Savio Parish in Affton for 24 years.

Amelia Gattuso

Donor Services Representative


Amelia recently moved to St. Louis from Memphis, Tennessee, where she obtained a degree in Business Administration. Amelia loves animals and sports and enjoys her work at the Foundation because she is able to assist donors every day and be a part of a team that truly believes in its mission. Amelia attends St. Ambrose Parish.
