The Power of Endowments
Think about it. One gift to an endowment fund keeps giving year after year. That’s powerful. You can provide permanent annual income to the Catholic parishes, schools and ministries you love by investing in an endowment fund at the Roman Catholic Foundation. Our endowment funds are invested for the long-term, offering perpetual annual distributions to benefiting organizations and giving them the security to carry out their missions for generations.
How Endowment Funds Work
1. An establishing gift gets the fund started (and additional gifts of any amount can be added by anyone at any time)
2. We invest the fund for the long-term according to Catholic values
3. Annual distributions provide income to the Catholic organizations you love in perpetuity
The Gift that Keeps on Giving…
If you added up the annual distributions from an endowment fund over a 25-year period, the total would most likely match or exceed the fund’s value at the start of that period. Annual distributions from the fund would continue for the next 25 years, and the 25 years after that, and on and on.
In essence, any gift you make to an endowment fund today will duplicate itself in annual distributions every 25 years or so.
Donor-Designated Endowment Funds (DDE)
A donor-designated endowment fund is an effective way to establish your charitable legacy, strengthening the Catholic organizations you hold dear.
Organizational Endowment Funds (OEF)
An endowment fund can help ensure financial stability for your parish, school or ministry long into the future.
