Catholic Donor-Advised Funds

A Catholic Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) at the Roman Catholic Foundation is a simple tool, available to anyone. Your DAF can help you simplify your charitable giving, serving as your “charitable checkbook.”

You contribute to your DAF at any time and receive an immediate tax deduction, then you recommend grants from the fund at your own pace that will support your favorite Catholic ministries and other charities.

All DAFs at the Foundation are invested in accordance with the social teachings of the Catholic Church, according to the Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines established by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. Grants from DAFs are made only to those organizations that do not operate in opposition to the Church teaching. Catholics with Donor-Advised Funds at the Roman Catholic Foundation can feel secure knowing that their charitable funds are aligned with their faith.
